I would rather have made in the USA but that seems to be getting harder and harder to find for a good price. I researched die grinders from snap-on to mac to cheaper choices and IR3102 was the best. Ir3102 is the best value and I hate to say it but made in the USA is going by the wayside because of the USA which is a disapointment. The only thing make it better is if it was made in the USA. dollar for dollar it is the best deal. The 1/3 horse power is nice but do not expect it to be alot more powerful than the 1/4 but you should notice the difference. Also with the kit (ir3102k) is a nice value.
